The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission posted a long document approving bitcoin ETFs on Wednesday, and then it disappeared from its website within a few minutes.
A 22-page PDF approving exchange 19b-4 filings went live on the SEC website shortly before 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, though the link later led to a 404 page. The SEC did not immediately respond to an email asking about the document.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
