KAMPALA, Oct 3 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was firmer on Thursday, boosted by strong dollar inflows from commodity exporters and remittances, traders said.

At 0854 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,658/3,668, compared with Wednesday's closing rate of 3,665/3,675.
