KAMPALA, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling edged lower on Thursday, undercut by hard currency demand from telecoms, energy and manufacturing firms, traders said.

At 0711 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,690/3,700, compared to Wednesday's close of 3,685/3,695.
