March 14 (Reuters) - Consumer prices in France were up 0.9% year-on-year in February, statistics office INSEE said on Friday, in line with analysts' expectations and the preliminary reading.

Analysts in a Reuters poll had expected an EU-harmonised inflation figure of 0.9% on average in February.
