JAKARTA, April 23 (Reuters) - Indonesia's central bank held policy rates steady for a third consecutive review on Wednesday, as expected, aiming to maintain stability in the rupiah exchange rate amid global uncertainty over trade tensions.
Bank Indonesia kept the benchmark 7-day reverse repurchase rate (IDCBRR=ECI) , opens new tab, known as BI Rate, unchanged at 5.75%, as expected by all but two of 26 economists polled by Reuters.

The central bank also maintained its overnight deposit facility (IDCBID=ECI) , opens new tab and lending facility (IDCBIL=ECI) , opens new tab rates at 5.00% and 6.50%, respectively.
