May 14 (Reuters) - India's top lender State Bank of India (SBI.NS) , opens new tab will consider raising $3 billion through a public offer or private placement of foreign currency bonds during financial year 2026, it said on Wednesday.

SBI will have a board meeting on May 20 to deliberate on the fundraise.
