Oct 14 (Reuters) - Shell (SHEL.L) , opens new tab said on Tuesday it had taken a final investment decision, together with Sunlink Energies and Resources Ltd, on the HI gas project offshore Nigeria, with production expected to start before the end of this decade.

The project, once completed, will supply 350 million standard cubic feet of gas per day at peak production to Nigeria LNG, which produces and exports liquified natural gas (LNG) to global markets.
