LONDON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said Bank Rate was likely to continue to be on a "gradual downward path" after a 5-4 vote kept the central bank's benchmark rate at 4.0% on Thursday.

"We are likely to continue to be on a gradual downward path for Bank Rate," Bailey told a press conference.
