May 3 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil (XOM.N) New Tab, opens new tab has closed its $60 billion purchase of Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD.N) New Tab, opens new tab, the oil and gas producer said on Friday, a day after receiving a go-head from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for the deal.
